Cam Champ (born 1990 in Georgetown, Ontario) is a contemporary Canadian artist and writer residing in Toronto, Canada. He studied graphic design at The Humber Institute of Technology and received his advanced diploma in 2012. From a very young age, Champ has since been pursuing what he believes to be his truest form of stylistic creative output. There exists a vague familiarity in his mind of what this ought to be for him, but has not yet discovered what it is. In this pursuit of truth, his work engages with themes of longing, chaos, and mental illness. His work tends to be stylistically investigative - ranging from photography and collage to drawing, primitive expressionism, and representational. Aphorism and literature have consistently been of great interest to Champ and have been the most enduring element seen throughout his work.
