Melanie Keay is a multidisciplinary artist and designer living and working in Toronto, Canada. She graduated with a BFA from OCAD University in 2017 and was the recipient of the Won Lee Achievement in Fine Art Award for the body of work produced in her graduating year. Working in sculpture, furniture design, metal fabrication, drawing, painting and digital collage, she explores themes of our psychological and emotional relationships with science and technology and its affects on the body, the body’s relationship to space, both physical and digital, and life in an all-consuming information driven era.
Her work has been exhibited and sold both locally and internationally, and she is currently represented by Superposition Gallery based in Los Angeles.
