Helen Mak

Helen Mak is a Chinese-Canadian multi-disciplinary artist born and raised in Toronto. Her work is inspired by traditional Chinese Shanshui paintings and abstract expressionism. Through her work, she creates a relationship between her Chinese roots and her Canadian upbringing. An envisioned space where the two cultures meet in a fantastical landscape, in harmony or chaos.
