"When my baby Cye was a month old I started my first art work for him, a grid of paintings based on the alphabet, depicting images from the natural world, things he might see in his surroundings on walks together that I could point to and we could talk about when was the as older, like an Ant, or juniper berry. The format of small watercolour paintings fit my new way of working, in the small bits of time when he slept. I’m happy to share this first art work as a print for other families this Spring! The letters aren’t included, so that you can describe and guess what the words are."
