Courtney Wotherspoon is a multi-disciplinary artist and illustrator, based in Toronto, with clients including Amazon, The New York Times, LCBO, University of Toronto and The Drake Hotel.

Over a 20-year career, Courtney’s hand-lettering and illustrations have graced magazine pages, billboards, product packaging, movie sets and invitations. With a background in graphic design and typography, her playful and layered drawings and paintings are born from a fondness for decorative detail, texture and a more-is-more approach. A strong penchant for crafting, interiors and styling, it was only natural that Courtney’s illustrations would eventually move to large-scale and site-specific installations, where the entire space is considered. Her paintings can now also be found on patios, retail windows and select dining and children’s rooms.

Courtney lives in Toronto with her husband, two kids and Great Dane, Uma Thurman.
