Sofia Escobar

Sofia Escobar’s line-work illustrations offer an ongoing exploration on the relationship between space and habitat. By creating abstract worlds that combine organic and symmetrical properties, she constructs meditative landscapes that flow into abstract environments. 

Born in Peru, Sofia completed her studies at OCAD University in Toronto in Material Art & Design. Her illustrations have been published in Art of Attention Yoga book and has exhibited in other mediums including textile art, sculpture and installation at the One of a Kind Show, Textile Museum of Canada, Jackman Hall AGO and has commissioned work for The Drake.
